Menthi pappu

Ingredient's-
Toor dar-1cup(acc to rice cooker measuring cup)
menthi seed's-1/3 spoon
red chillie's-10-14( add or reduce acc to ur taste)
tomato's-1 large
tamarind-3-4 starpe's
jeera-1/2 spoon
mustard seed's-1/3 sp,
haldi-1/4 sp
curry leav's- some
onion-1small
garlic cloves-4
oil-4sp
water-2 1/2 cup's
salt-1 1/2 sp- 2 sp ( acc)
preparation-
1st put presure cooker on stove & put oil, after it heat's up den add mustard seed's,jeera,curry leave's,menthi seed's,garlic,onion, fry them,
den add toor dal & fry it for 7-8 min's on medium flame,or untill it get's a nice coating of li'll brown colour.
den put haldi,tomato's,& tamarind, & water , & jsut for our convince,taste d water,so dat we can add mirchi pwd ,if it's less,
 let dem wistel for 5-7 time's ,after it's completely cooked, den mash it & add 1 spoon of sugar to it,
enjoy it with hot steamy rice & ghee :)

Fish curry( chapala pulusu)

Fish-1 lb
Tamarind-1 large lemon sized ball quantity
cocnut powder-3sp
menthi seed's-1/4 sp
gasagasallu(poppy seed's)-1sp
onion-1 large
ginger-garlic paste-4sp
cloves,cinnamon stick,bay leaf- accordginly
Haldi-1/2sp
mirchi pwd-4-5 sp( acc to ur taste)
1st fry cocnut pwd,poppy seed's, menthi seed's in a pan, & later fry onion's & while gridning add tamarind too( grinding tamarind make's work easy), & den grind all these ingerdint's toghter . so this is our gravy part,
so coming to fish, jsut put 2 sp's of oil in a pan,& fry fish for jsut couple of min's ,put haldi too,so dat it's smell would go away, dont fry 100%,jsut flip fish,dat's it. take dem aside.
in d same pan,put 5 sp of oil,den put some more onion's & ginger galic paste & masala item's & fry dem,& slowly add fish's,dont break dem,den let it cook for 10 more min's & cover it with lid,& add salt too,
later once taste d salt & marchi part & add if needed. & if tanginess is less,u can add lemon later too. so on d whole ,fish curry will be prepared in 20min's.
njy it wiht rice or roti .let me know :)

Basic pappu( simple tadka dal)


We have somany dal's in our region, basic procdure will be same ,except vegetable's will be changing acc,
so 1st me tell wht'll dal's will be prepared-
vankayi pappu( brinjal dal)
cabbage dal
tomato dal
beerakaya pappu(ridge gourd dal)
mamidi kaya pappu(mango dal)
Palaku pappu( palak dal)
menthi akku pappu( methi leaf pappu)
totakura pappu(amarnath dal)
there are sum combination's too-
mango & brinjal dal
amarnath & mango dal

so coming to Basic dal procedure-
Toor dal-1 cup
tomato-1 medium size
tamarind-3-4 strip's
onion-1 small
green chillies-8-10 ( acc)
haldi-1/4 sp
Tadka-
oil-3 5 sp
mustard seeds-1/2 sp
jeera-1/2 sp
onion-chopped 1 small
red chilllie-2-3
curry leave's- some
garlic cloves-2-3.
any vegetable-
put all these ingredint's in a  pressure cooker, & cook dem ,& after mashing it ,add salt, & put tadka to dem-
tadka include's- 3 4 sp's oil, mustard seed's, jeera,1 red chillie, curry leave's,garlic 2-3 clove's & finley chopped onion's.
so dis is basic dal ,
acc to vegetabel's ,sum slight variation;s will be thr
for Palak dal- we dont add tomoato,only more tamarind to it,as many know d reason
mango dal- adjust d tanginess, as ,mango itself would be tangi na, so,
cabbage dal- add 3 or 4 chillie's more, as cabbage will be bland
Tomato dal- use only red chillie pwd,dont use green chillie's.

My Ways to cook

I come frm rayalseema district of Andhra pradesh ,over thr we have a variety of food,but wht evr food is ,it would be a li'll bit spicy comapretely,
so my frnd's asked for our region style cooking, so trying to keep sum recipe's wht i know, so if thr are any flaws in dis, pls let me know :)

PUlagam & Pachipulussu:
Ingredint's-
Rice-2cup's
Pesara pappu(green moong dal)-1/3 cup
water-5cup's
salt-1 1/2 sp
ghee- 3sp
jsut wash rice & moong dal, & soak dem for 30min's & put them in rice cooker ,add salt, & when it's cooking add ghee to it, dat's it, pulagum is done, we do this specially on occasion & on saturday's,as it's lord venkateshwara's swamy's 1 of d fav food's :),.  it;s very simple,yet delicious :)
 pachi pulusu ingerdent's- 1st let me tell you why it got it's name ,basically in olden days farmer's or any travelling people use ot carry tamarind onion's & mirchi's along with dem,& thy instatly use to prepare dis pulusu,so dat's y it's also called farmer's soup. but trust me,the taste is outstanding if eaten wiht pulagam.
tamarind-small lemon size quantity
onions-1 medium size
water-1 bowl(800 gm)
salt-1/2-3/4 sp( acc)
green mirchi-2
jaggery-1sp (powder it nicely)
groundnut & cocnut grind toghter- 2 sp ( oppotional)
soak tamarind for 1hour, den mash it nciely in a bowl wiht water & if it's very tangy,add summore water,& cut onion's & mirchi into very fine peice's, so put these 2 in bowl & try to press onion's in hand,so dat onion's taste will oze out into water, i hope u understood,
den add salt & jaggery ,& grinded pwd, & serve instalty :) hope u njyed it & let me know :)

Priceless possesion

Can anybody tell wht's so immortal & priceless in dis world.. i think allmsot 90% people will say it's love!!!!
i amnt talking abt d teenage or youth love, i am refering to parent's love.
i really dont understnad ,why some people do suicide's if d girl wont accpet his love!!! is ur love just limited to dat girl, wont u remember ur frnd's,parent;s grandparetn's!!!!!
Human body can bear upto 45 del(unit) of pain,but while giving birth, a women can bear upto 57 del of pain..dat's like 20bone's getting fractured at same time!!!! howmnay people know howmuch trouble there mother bear's to give him birth.
in dis world every 5min's sumone is commiting suicide's across dis world.. is dis life which is given by god so cheap to destroy urself!!!  arent we far better with wht we have ,instead of people living across around u,without parent's,wihtout schooling,wiht out fun,frnd's,home!!!!!!
may be thy'll say dis reason commonly,we dont know thr situvation, or how pathetic thy feel!!!!
are u so really pathetic..just see urself in mirror, God has given u all ur body part's -2eye's,2leg's2hand's wiht proper health,, jsut see around people in mentally & physically handicapped people.
u have evrthing properly, yet u r incomplete,. but evn though meantally & physically handicapped people r far stronger den you ..y, thy never give up,& u know wht, thy dont evn need our sympathy, just our appreication & affection which we think to give!!!! so evn now if u think ,u have  somuch pain u cant bear.. den do atleast 1 thing, atleast donate ur organ's..
u may hurt ur parent;s & loved one;s wiht ur desicion but atleast ur organ's can be really helpfull for sumone in needy!!!
but pls think before u do sumthing stupid.. as u really dont know ,wht'll happen to u in near future, u never know ,,may be after dis sad phase,,u'll be really happy!!!
if u have somuch love to give, & d girl doesnt understnad,jsut leave her, go to orphange or old age home's, spend sumtime wiht dem,trust me,u'll really feel damn gud :)
(If anyone felt wrong abt organ donation,pls forgive me,it;s just my opinion ,not to hurt anybody or think in other way)
Live your life till  end ,dont end it for anyone
(a small try ,atleast if 1 person read's dis & change thr opinion bt living to d fulliest ,, i wouldbe more den happy)

Nature's teaching

I know sum time's life isnt really rocking, as we excepted. but did u evr thoghut y is dis happneing,
should life always be so colourfull!!! no i guess ,we shldn't except dat always, we'll have sad phase sumtimes,gloomy time's, & fear too.. i think we shld always experince all phase's ,as with sadnness,gloomy,fear jealousy, we never know ,wht would be d value of happiness!!!!
just see around d atmosphere before u,, wont u see leaf's r falling, & again growing back.
sumtime's it;s rainy season & sum time;s it;s sunny. so d nature itself is saying ..life isnt always same,
so cheerup, ur life is always changing for better when it's in d worst stage!!!

My 1st friend

Destiny made us meet i guess,
u were standing there alone in a rainy day when i saw u 1st,
& when i saw u, i instantly knew u shld b with me,
fought a lot  to have u a place in my home,
our bond grew day to day,
as days passed by,u shared a affectinate bond wiht my parent;s & brothers,
i remember d days we played football,
i remember d days when we went on walks,
i remember d days when i left food,u use to eat,to avoid scolding's frm mom,
i remeber d days,u cheered me,when mom was angry on me with ur naught;s acts,
i remember d days how u teared my college notes ,when i didnt bother abt u,
i remeber d days,u use to scare my frnd's when thy were at home,
i remember d days,u use to hear what evr,i use to talk,& u never quit hearing..
i remember d days when lighting struck, how u were scared & ran to us,
i remeber d days i took u to hospital when u were sick & how afraid u were wiht injection's,
& how u were happy to have chocolates which i gave,
i remember how we searched a juliet for u,
whne ever i remeber u ,u r smile on my face, a sweet pain my heart, jsut a heartbeat away in my thgoht's,
i remember u scobby,& i always will ,till my death,
miss u scooby..
