Menthi pappu

Ingredient's-
Toor dar-1cup(acc to rice cooker measuring cup)
menthi seed's-1/3 spoon
red chillie's-10-14( add or reduce acc to ur taste)
tomato's-1 large
tamarind-3-4 starpe's
jeera-1/2 spoon
mustard seed's-1/3 sp,
haldi-1/4 sp
curry leav's- some
onion-1small
garlic cloves-4
oil-4sp
water-2 1/2 cup's
salt-1 1/2 sp- 2 sp ( acc)
preparation-
1st put presure cooker on stove & put oil, after it heat's up den add mustard seed's,jeera,curry leave's,menthi seed's,garlic,onion, fry them,
den add toor dal & fry it for 7-8 min's on medium flame,or untill it get's a nice coating of li'll brown colour.
den put haldi,tomato's,& tamarind, & water , & jsut for our convince,taste d water,so dat we can add mirchi pwd ,if it's less,
 let dem wistel for 5-7 time's ,after it's completely cooked, den mash it & add 1 spoon of sugar to it,
enjoy it with hot steamy rice & ghee :)
